Corporate Resource Cell

It is an initiative of the SMC to make its student’s Industry Ready” by enhancing their employability through real time experience of applied research and industry connect for the students and industry. Cell undertakes various activities such as

  • Organizing Resume Writing, Mock CD and Mock Interview (5) sessions.
  • Pro-placement visits (PTV) to the companies.
  • Communication, networking and relationship building with the potential recruiters.

Sports Club

Sports help the students to achieve physical, mental and emotional strength which is very necessary for building a good career. The college believing in same, has created a separate sports club which gives direction to the real and enthusiasm in the students in the field of sports. Students of SMC have participated and have won accolades in various inter-college tournaments, both at the state as well as the national level and are actively exposing to various sporting activities in the college premises such as Cricket, Table Tennis, Basketball Volleyball, Badminton and Football

Cultural Club

The Club believes in “For the artists, by the artists, of the artists”, with this theme we venture into developing the hidden talent in our students, the club fosters an energizing community that encourages everyone to explore their talent, passion and exploit their potential by providing an exceptional integrated learning environment. The cultural club organizes various activities like Treasure Hunt. National Service Scheme(NSS)

NSS Unit at Shri Mahaveer College is a voluntary association of Students in college to contribute to the Society. The cardinal principle of the NSS programme is that it is organized by the students themselves and both students and teachers through their combined participation in community service, get a sense of involvement in the tasks of nation building. The motto of the National Service Scheme is “Not Me But You”. This reflects the spirit of democratic living and upholds the need for noble service and appreciation of the other person’s point of view and also to show consideration for fellow human beings.

Rotaract Club

Techno Club

“Technology, like art, is a soaring exercise of the human imagination” Techno club is the club which aims at inspiring students about the technologies and pursue their hunger for knowledge in the areas other than their regular field of study. This club instills the passion of technology among students at the cost of various competitions such as Power point Presentation, Codejam, LAN Gaming Web Development, Technical Quiz and various workshops about technology know-how.

Commerce Club

In order to meet the challenging needs of the corporate world, it is not sufficient for a student of Commerce to be sound theoretically, but must also be exposed to face practical situations. The aim of this Club is to meet the requirements of a challenging business environment. The club provides a platform for the students to exhibit their talent in various commerce-oriented events and also helps them to enhance their analytical and decision-making skills. It will expand knowledge about commercial activities and students will learn about basic and complex financial skills.
